GRANT-IN-AID TO THE STATE FIRE SERVICES

FINANCE COMMISSION GRANT:

Ministry of Home Affairs has arranged Rs.80 crores and Rs. 201 crores through Tenth Finance Commission and Eleventh Finance Commission during 1995-2000 and 2000-2005 respectively for the State Government for the construction of adequate well-designed functional fire stations, modern fire fighting and rescue equipment/appliances, communication system, personal protective equipments for the functionaries, adequate water supply for fire fighting.
