GIC LOANS TO THE STATE FIRE SERVICES
Since 1980, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been arranging GIC loans to various State Governments for procurement of fire fighting appliances. So far Rs. 406.97 crores GIC loans had been arranged by the Ministry for development of State Fire Services.
